The Tree of LIF is a young, faith-rooted nonprofit. At home in Arizona we help neighbors find food, shelter and a way into recovery. In Benin we visit hospital patients and help families with their bills.

Easter 2026 · Day 1Volunteers from The Tree of LIF and Église de la Paix du Christ arrive at CNHU-HKM, the national teaching hospital in Cotonou.

We are a small team. We go where people are, listen first, and help with the practical thing: a meal, a coat, a call to a shelter, a hospital bill paid.

Founded in Maricopa, Arizona in January 2026 by Codjo D. Tchokpodo.

Over Easter 2026, The Tree of LIF joined Église de la Paix du Christ for a multi-day hospital outreach in Cotonou. Volunteers visited patients ward by ward, prayed with them, and helped families with medical bills.

The name

Why LIF, and not Life?

When the organization was registered, the name Life was already taken. So we became The Tree of LIF. The idea did not change: roots that hold, room to grow, and branches that reach other people.
